On these pages we want to present our comfortable and furnished vacation apartment in Kandern. You are invited to a virtual visit of the rooms.
Important info to people with allergies:
the whole apartment is equipped with hardwoodflooring and paving tiles.
In addition you will find some information and tips to some interesting
excursion destinations and to cultural and sportive events.
So you already now can enjoy a vacation in our house.
1 Region = 3 countries
The Markgraeflerland is located in southwest Germany. It is surrounded by
the hills of the southern Black Forest in the north, Switzerland and
the Alpes in the south and France with the Alsace and the Vosges in the west.
Last but not least there is the wide and fertile river Rhine valley nearby,
where you can find lots of sun drenched vinyards.
The reachability of our area is very easy by using the A5 Autobahn or the
Airport Basel-Mulhouse.
It is only a short trip of 15 km to the cities of Weil/Rhine and Loerrach
and about 60 km to Freiburg. Other well known places are the mountains Hochblauen,
Feldberg, Belchen or the lakes Titisee and the Lake Konstanz, which also are in a day's trip distance.
It is only 20 km to the city of Bale, where you can find interesting cultural events, international exhibitions and entertainment events all year long. 
The french border is only 20 km away. Here in the Alsacs you may visit the
car museum in Mulhouse, take a trip along the "Alsatian Wine Route"
from Colmar to Ribeauville or have a sight seeing tour to Strasbourg.
